Hazel Holt is a writer of, amongst other things, crime fiction.

Her style is similar to Dorothy L. Sayers in that her characters grow as the books progress. Each plot stands alone without referring back to earlier books and they can be enjoyed in any order but the changing lives of the main characters makes a pleasant background which holds the stories together.
